Why Probiotics are becoming popular in 2017?

Probiotic bacteria are becoming more popular, this is a fact. We now have specialty stores that specialize in selling only probiotic products like, Bio X4 – and I’ve actually been into one of these shops and seen some of the products there. I am pretty new to probiotics myself but after talking with some people that know a lot more than myself and after reading some studies and trial results I’ve come to realize just how important probiotics are for our general health.

I bet many people wouldn’t even guess that something like a bacterium would offer so many health benefits, yet it is true and scientifically proven. Not all of their benefits are well understood and there are certainly things about bacteria that we’ve yet to discover but we do know a couple of things about them, such as the fact that most of them live in our intestines and that they help in the breakdown of food and the extraction of nutrients. They can also synthesize vitamins but very few of them, such as the vitamin K.

From the moment you put food into your mouth and begin to chew it, it is mixed in with saliva and lots of bacteria that are found in your mouth, which begin to break down the food. They make digestion a better, easier and faster process. What is special about probiotics as opposed to out digestive enzymes is that while for example humans can’t digest fiber, probiotic bacteria can so they help us with that. Also, some humans can’t properly digest lactose although this is not a something that applies to everyone. Again, probiotic bacteria can help with this as well and with things such as bloating that result from the inability to digest lactose, lactose intolerance which appears to be something genetically inherited. Bacteria in general come from two sources, dirt, and food, they are practically everywhere around us, the environment, on our skin and inside our bodies.

Bacteria, in general come from two sources, dirt, and food, they are practically everywhere around us, the environment, on our skin and inside our bodies.

They also have a role in the immune function, being able to inhibit certain strains or species of other bacteria, or fungi that are potentially harmful to humans and are related to various health problems. Bio X4 is a probiotic supplement manufactured by Nucific that can serve as a pretty good example of what you can expect a probiotic to be. It has 5 strains of bacteria (L. acidophilus, L.

It has 5 strains of bacteria (L. acidophilus, L. rhamnosus, L. plantarum, B. lactis, B. animalis) and it has three digestive enzymes (Amylase, Bromelain, Lipase). Not all probiotics have digestive enzymes or prebiotic extracts but some do. Bio X4 also has green tea and Caralluma for weight management. It’s definitely a good choice for individuals with gut issues, imbalances in the gut flora such as those created from antibiotic abuse.

The individual quantities are not available but the proprietary blend formed of these three ingredients is 43 milligrams. In terms of CFUs, which I forgot to mention, it has 4 billion colony forming units per capsule and inside the container, you find a total of 90 capsules. It is actually pretty rare to get 90 capsules, that is a lot of capsules, but it’s clear that it tries to compensate for having a low number of CFUs compared to some of the other probiotic supplements that one can find online. In the weight management blend, it has green tea 100mg and Caralluma Fimbriata 166 milligrams.

Bio X4 is an average at best dietary probiotic supplement and an average if not below average weight loss supplement. I actually expect it to offer very mild benefits if any at all for weight loss. The reason I say this is because the dose of green tea is only 100mg whereas what is recommended clinically is about 400mg with 50% EGCG which is the powerful antioxidant found in green tea extract. As for the Caralluma, no evidence at all for reducing appetite or burning fat to promote weight loss, not much that I can say about it.

It can probably offer some benefits for health, for digestion in particular due to the probiotic strains of bacteria, it may help with bloating, maybe inflammation, maybe improve the immune function more or less, obviously the effects will vary. Since it does not offer much, the price is much too high, it’s overpriced coming at $100 for one month’s supply. It is definitely not the best value for the money.
